i had bought a new msi gtx 1660 gaming x a 3 or 5  months ago, 2 months ago i had changed from an old case to an new one and it was working fine. then the rgb would only work sometimes and now it never does the card runs fine, it shows all the vram is there. in device manager it says Device PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_2184&SUBSYS_37901462&REV_A1\4&38f0ae93&0&0019 requires further installation. dont know if that has any effect on the problem here are my specs 

msi b450m pro vdh max

msi gtx 1660 

16 gb of ram

amd ryzen 5 2600x 

my os is windows 10 home

There's a similar post here for a different type of device that suggests uninstalling the drivers completely and reinstalling them. DDU usually handles that pretty well for a GPU. If that doesn't work I'd suggest checking the cable that connects the RGB/fans to the PCB itself.
