So I am editing with my macbook pro 2015 with 125 GB storage and final cut pro. But I have found out that the capacity of my macbook is not enough so I am looking for some suggestions for some good SSD'S of all ranges from low mid and high end on preformance and price. (Also thinking of getting an hard drive for backup of all my projects.) any knowledge as well is appreciated towards an SSD or hard drive.

thanks for the reposnses! :)

I think the Macbook 2015 can run NVME SSDs. You could maybe pop a Sabrent Rocket in there or an adata xpg sx8200 pro.

I'm double checking compatibility now though.

*Edit Update* looks like people have done it using Sintech nvme adaptors.

I'm an IT System Admin with 15+ years worth of XP, plus I've been tinkering computers since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, so I usually know what I'm talking about.

First:

Second:

You want a drive with good solid state performance if possible. At least for heavy editing. Something like the SN750 (~$120 for 1TB lately with discounts/codes and CB). Check my signature.
