I'm buying a laptop soon and I'm wondering weather it is worth it to get a Seagate 5400 rpm 500 gb with 64 mgb cache SSHD or put in 20-30 dollars more for a Toshiba SSHD that has 8 gb of cache instead of a measly 64 megs. Thoughts? If your wondering, I want an sshd so I can have the size of a hard drive but also have fast boot times and quick program load times without having to pay for the equivalent sized SSD.

Are you going to be frequently using programs with more than 64 mb of space? If not then the 8gb wont matter to you. I would just go with which ever is cheaper, you won't be able to tell the difference between the two unless you are launching large files frequently.
