Disable caps lock key?

Is there any way to disable my caps lock key in the OS or in software?

I keep mis-hitting it when gaming which is annoying if i'm trying to get a quick typed message out in the middle of a raid or something. I can't find anything that'll do it.

 

I'd really rather not damage my keyboard physically in order to achieve this, and my current keyboard is not the kind that can be infinitely customised

 

Anyone know any good tools to do this?

lua macros or auto hotkey maybe able to do it.

you'd have it get the key and turn it into something else, like a higher numbered f key, like say F16 or F24
