Need new headphones.

Hello HF members, I am looking for a new pare of headphones. I have about $200 ( I dont know much about audio ). I was thinking about Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro (250 Ohm).

I recently use Sennheiser HD 558 and it have everything you want on the list.

+1, the HD 598 also have everything you want. They are extremely light and the ear pads are really soft. The impedance is 50 Ohms so no amp is needed.

Well, the DT 880 250ohm is likely to require an amp. Not necessarily always with newer motherboards, but quite a few people do still want more juice.

 

I'd spring for a 558 over the 598 mentioned above, because it's cheaper and they sound nearly the same after performing an easy mod to remove a piece of foam.
