Good day,

I have been unable to figure out the solution on my own for the past week. I recently built a pc. The specs are:

______________

i7-9700k

RTX 2080 Super

Trident Z Royal Ram 32gb

2TB SSHD

Aorus z390 Pro Wifi Motherboard

Seasonic 750w

Alienware 3418DW Ultrawide

Thermaltake Core p3 open glass case (To keep temperatures low)

______________

The problem I have been having is that Doom 2016 keeps crashing. I was first afraid it might be a GPU problem as half the screen would go black and the game would crash after maybe 10 minutes of playing. Then I thought it could be my RAM so I did the memtest and nothing is wrong with it.

I used to have my XMP profile turned on and someone on the internet pointed out to me that Trident Z Royal sticks don't work well with XMP so I turned it off.

I have done everything else to try and fix the issue such as verifying game files, re-installing, and failing to overclock by watching a tutorial. To no avail nothing has worked yet. All other games do not crash, although fortnight crashed once and I can play GTA and other games on ultra for hours with no issues at a steady 100fps.

I think my real issue lies in my BIOs settings. I have not overclocked and everything is on auto. I noticed that when I set my Memory to 3600MHz Doom would last longer but then after 30min would crash again. All my drivers are up to date.

If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated. I will soon be buying 2 more slots of RAM for a total of 64gb (I know there is no need for it). And a much needed M.2 ssd.

I think that maybe overclocking will fix my issue but I don't know what settings to use for my system or where to even start.

Thanks in advance,
