virtual or simple volumes?

Setting up new video editing system.

X570 aorus master

64 gigs 3600 ram

2080 super

Using a 2 terabyte ssd drive as boot.

Have 2 rocket nvme pcie4 1 terabyte m2 drives for scratch drives. Going to test data read writes and then switch them back to simple volumes and see if there is any noticeable difference.

 

Any suggestions on testing methods?

Apps to use or advice?
