Network card issue

Hello,I've recently had a problem with my pc after a windows update. The pc was turning on fans ramping up and not coming back down a no screen output i've nailed down the problem to my network card (TP-Link TL-WN781ND).

So i've changed it to another one (Hommie 1200MBps dual band + bluetooth)  and now i have too keep the old netword card in my pc for the new one to show up and to be able to use it, otherwise the bluetooth work on the hommie but i'have no wifi until i connect the old network card. 

I hope my problem is clear 

Does anyone has an idea to resolve the problem and to be able to use the hommie card without the other one ?
