So we all liked the performance increase that mantle brought however it was glitchy and buggy and a health hazard for kittens. So the people over at dice are fixing some stuff, the performance should increase further(dont get your hopes up, its not gonna be a dramatic difference) but more importantly the bugs and crash ratio should be slashed.   

 

Also a few invisible walls in zavod 311 are being removed.

 

Pc patched first, and those other things get patched later

Cool, I wonder if it'll actually be playable with mantle now.

 

The frame rate would just drop randomly far too often.

I didn't notice any crashes with the Mantle update. Where as before I would crash every few minutes. 

 

But, 60fps looked jittery as hell

yeah a lot of people had freezing issues.
