Posted February 12, 2020 Hello, Bought 2 (2x8) new ram sticks for my new system but can't seem to boost mhz to OC speed. Stuck at 2133mhz and is supposed to go up to 3600mhz. What I tried so far: Bios update Manual OC D.O.C.P - standard profile (the only one showing) Specs:AMD Ryzen 5 3600XAsus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming Sapphire Radeon RX 5700XT2x8GB G.SKILL Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600 MhzGigabyte 750W Any thoughts on what am I missing (besides lack of knowledge overall...) Posted February 12, 2020 Xmp on? Not a pro, not even very good. I’m just old and have time currently. Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake. Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere. Posted February 12, 2020 Author No. Now that you mention that, I can't find xmp under the AI tweaker in bios. Posted February 12, 2020 XMP is DOCP . Same thing. Set Docp, check manually set ram volt to 1.35v. Manually set lower frequency to 3000-3200mhz see if posts. Yes? Increase memory speed incrementally to 3600mhz. Stability test each speed. Yes? Increase memory speed incrementally to 3600mhz. Stability test each speed. Tried to do that now but still wont budge. Tried with lower frequencies as well, no change. Posted February 12, 2020 Author Update. So I reset everything, then tried to boost it again manually. Got the ram moving! But only up to 3000 and no further.
