just got my rx570 and when i switch my gpu from nvidia gt710 to rx570 after i uninstall all the nvidia drivers then when i try booting it using the new gpu i got  no signal on my monitor... btw i'm using a old monitor with only vga on it i'm only using adopter to plug it in my gpu (using VGA - HDMI adopter). i can't use my pc without a gpu coz i can't make the onboard graphics work so the hdmi on my mobo won't work.

to sum this up upgrading gpu from nvidia to amd i only get no signal on my monitor... i just built my pc a week ago

Hello,

Do you still have the gt710 ? If you do plug it back in and DDU Nvidia drivers. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then plug back in the rx570 and download the AMD drivers :) If it's not working something else is dead.

@Plouffe i'm using the gt710 right now, i've watched a tutorial on how to use the DDU but someone commented that you need the microsoft password or something so i was hesitant to use it...

have this same problem when i first built my pc when i plug in my hdmi to the mobo i only get no signal until i borrowed a gpu.

should i also try removing the mobo battery like the cmos thing?

It is safe as long as safe mode accepts your password

I was using PIN instead of password to log in using windows 10 and safe mode would not accept my outlook password or PIN

Try to enable local admin account before booting into safe mode.
