EC or non-EC T.P.?

They all seem to claim they are Non EC -does is this validity truly hold up?

The latter two seem like they would be a better choice for the GPU... am I reading too much into their specs?

Sorry to keep asking the questions but trying to now narrow the field.

Bit of info:

Difference between premium pastes is minimal, as I've already said. I've so far only used Noctua and hadn't had any issues with it. I don't OC that much to see if its gonna effect on that side of things. Nor have I have paste sitting on CPU for over 3 years. Actually at the moment its probably been in place for 4 years or close to that, but I haven't noticed anything in temps when system is being stressed.

By just the specs seems like H2 is more geared towards heavy users on long term applications. Plus it comes with wipes. Bit more dense with wider thermal range. Noctua's own charts show at most that 3C of difference. Which in my eyes is too close to margin of error (+-2C) to take any data out of.

Which TYPE of T.P. transfers temperature away from the  cpu to the heatsink quicker?

Electrically conductive or non-electrically conductive thermal paste or is there no difference?

The difference between premium paste (Cryonaut, Noctua etc.) and basic paste can be something like 5-10C, depending on quality of basic paste. Difference between premium pastes is some 3C at most which is usually within margin of error when testing.

There's really no difference with electrical conductivity. Its important if you would be pasting under IHS or GPU.

What is the difference if applying to the GPU?

On GPU the paste can bridge two circuits. You are overall just safer when using non-conductive.

Well I had used Arctic Silver 5 in the past for CPU's...

But since this time I aim for both: GPU & CPU... and while AS-5 claims not to be EC -according to its own website it states it can bridge the pathways...

Almost as if they are saying it isn't but in actuality it is.

Is there a thermal compound that is similar to AS-5 but is more toward the non-EC side?

Also is lower viscosity cause the compound to spread smoother if using the pea method and the pressure of the heat-sink or the reverse?

Lower viscosity means better spreading. My pick is NT-H1.

An 8370 FX running under Arctic Silver 5 Idle load at 20C and 40C max load C15bench push it to 45C but never goes higher.

This CPU sits under a Nocuta D14 Heatsink with three fans:
