Hey guys...

want to upgrade my old pc...

I have a new power supply with about 320W and a GTX 1050...
But a really old CPU and only ddr3 ram.

Which motherboard, CPU can you recommend?

I'm a student and it should be as cheap as possible. By the way, I'm from Austria

thanks

Define "really old"

An i7 2600 still uses DDR3 but certainly doesn't suck and can fit in your power budget

Unfortunately that's not a budget. What is your max you'd comfortably be able to spend?

This is a reasonably cheap PC upgrade, just toss the 1050 in for the time being

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

My mistake for seeing "Australian" when you said Austrian lol

I went with a super economical upgrade option but you could easily drop a 2600 into the same build list.
