Internet fail

Hi everyone. I builded my friend a new pc. Now he has a problem with his internet. Hes internet speed contrakt is high but the internet on his pc is slow. Skype works but internet is slow. Does anyone have an idie what that might be? Thanks.

so the speed is in download speed? like 70.xx mbps? how about his ping? well I do notice this whenever my ping goes above 27 @ speed test I get insanely high ping on other stuff.

6-8 ping. he can game and talk with skype but hes internet some times its fast sometimes slow sometimes it doesent work at all.

Did you install the lan drivers for his motherboard?

what speed do you mean? CPU ?

run speedtest.net and report the actual internet speed you are gettinf

If you are running wired or wireless; update the drivers by going to the manufacturers website. Also check if there is a latest firmware for the router, or you could have a fault on your line so contact your ISP.

reinstall drivers

Make sure you are using the WLAN and LAN drivers from the manufacturer, do not use the ones that might come through Windows Update.
