TL/DR - PC is having restarting/shutdown issues across 2 different builds.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (new)

GPU - AMD 5700XT XFX Raw ii (new)
PSU - EVGA 750 N1 (new)

MOBO - Gigabyte Auros Elite WIFI X570 AM4 (new) - BIOS
Storage - Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 SSD

Ram - G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8) DDR4 2400 (reused from old build)

Stock CPU Cooler, 5 Deep Cool RF120M fans, 1 Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700

Case - Inwin 101

Monitor - AOC CU34G2X (3440x1440 144Hz)

Starting from the top, I previously had a different setup, in a different room of the house, seeing a similar issue (AMD GPU, Intel CPU, Strix 270f MOBO).
I have tried using multiple outlets for the monitor/pc, splitting them up, and leaving them on the same power supply.
I have re-seated the GPU, checked plugs, and pulled the CMOS battery off the mobo.
The whole system, excluding the ram, has been rebuilt and while the timing of the shutdowns has changed slightly, the issue persists.

My PC usually shuts down, occasionally restarts, sometimes successfully runs the game, when starting COD MW.
If the game successfully starts and gets into a match, things seem to be golden for a while, no problems actually running the game, and I can run for hours on high/ultra without a crash.

The next time it has the restart/shutdown issue is when I am leaving the game, or if I am jumping out of the game into another windows application (tweaking settings, launching discord, viewing temps).
The game seems to be more successful running full screen rather than windowed. I am not sure that any of these things is the cause, but they are trends I have been seeing.
As far as I can tell, at full load to the GPU, everything is fine. And I can load up the CPU as well with no issues.
But the transitions within the game (loading screens), and leaving the game back to Windows 10 triggers something.

I have run HWinfo in the bg to view temps and look for any anomalies.
The Raw ii GPU is known to run hot, but I don't see temps in either the CPU or GPU that would cause the system to crash.
No system warnings, no blue screens.

There is nothing custom regarding OC/UV on either the CPU or GPU.

Any ideas are much appreciated.
House has had some curious electrical issues, but the breaker never pops while the PC is running. Have seen some very subtle light flickering.

Next idea was to try a UPS to make sure power to the system would be steady.

Thanks.

That's garbage. Regardless of what issues you're having that PSU should be replaced.

You mentioned you replaced almost the entire PC, what was the model of PSU you had in your old system? Depending what it is it might be better to use that instead of the EVGA N1.

It only happens with CoD MW? Doesn't do it for any other games or synthetic benchmarks?

I don't really have a quick fix for you, but i can try and help :D

If you have replaced all components and still having same issue i would of guessed RAM- Try changing or running with one stick

Tried both sticks on their own, no luck.
Thanks though

I am fairly certain the old PSU isn't better, but definitely noted that I should get something better.
Just ran UNIGINE superposition on a variety of settings, windowed and full screen, and am doing so again as I type this. No crashes.
Running just an arbitrary CPU-hammering program in the background will kill the benchmark but there are no system issues w/ full Ram, CPU and GPU utilization.

I don't have other games installed at the moment but am re-downloading Battlefield V and can give that a show when it's done...

Points to CoD MW-specific issue?

Possibly since you said it only happens when you're trying to play that game.

What happens when the system crashes? Does it just switch off as if you pulled the power plug out? Are you able to reboot the system straight away?

Looking at the hwinfo log you posted the GPU hot spot is reaching 110°C, which iirc is the limit, but that is after a while under load so it shouldn't be causing your PC to restart before you are able to load the game. Double check the GPU temps in AMD wattman.

Thanks for all your help.

When the system crashes it is just switching off like the plug was pulled. Occasionally, although less often recently, the system would reboot on it's own rather than requiring me to power it up.
Just now when it went down the reboot was almost instant, but on occasion the system will hang and bootup will take 1+ min.
Additionally, just now, I watched wattman as the game launched and the "Current Temperature" was at 55c and "Junction Temperature" was at 57c when the system went down.
