Browsers and windows 10 security randomly slow

This has been an irregular occurance lately on my PC. One day after playing a game, I got a notification that my win10 security needed to be reactivated. I tried to open it, but was painfully slow to load, and I also tried opening Chrome to find a solution, and found that loading any webpages took ages. I did a virus scan wit AVG and Malwarebytes, and found no malware, and after a PC restart everything was running fine again. Fast foward to a few weeks later and same thing happens again, except win10 security didn't turn off so I restarted my PC and everything was fine again. Fast foward again to today and the same thing happened, except that Malwarebytes now scans much faster than normal. Normally it takes 10 minutes to do a bacis scan, but it only took 4 minutes today.

Might I be the victim of malware or is win10 just being garbage? There is also no abnormally high disk and cpu usage.

My dad installed windows for me so I'm 99% sure it's a pirated copy.

? well that may explain your problems. I was using before pirated copy of w10 and had exactly same issue you have now, that’s why when I heard windows security something something it was first thing pop in my mind. Bad news is that I tried everything what I could to get rid of it, but I couldn’t, on the end I bought cheap version of w10 and problem is gone now

It's fine after restarting but I don't know when it's gonna happen again, I might just have to empty the wallet a bit and see if comes back haha.
