Adobe Flash Player + Xubuntu = I NEED Help!!!

I think I installed it from the Ubuntu Software Center, but I don't know how to tell if it's installed. I don't know how to install it from the Adobe website. I'm a Linux noob so be easy on me.

Also, the adobe flash plugin does not appear in the firefox plugin thingy.

you can look in /usr/lib for a flashplugin-installer folder or open up your browser and type in about:plugins

edit: you can always simply try to load a video on youtube

The Ubuntu software center installs Adobe Shockwave player by default. Adobe Shockwave also includes Adobe Flash so there shouldn't be any issue

Never seen that problem before... Make sure your system is up to date. If that doesn't fix it, consider re-installing flash.
