Enough Wattage?

Go to solution Solved by Vejnemojnen,

No issues here :) RM650x is an excellent-recommended option, 650w is more than enough!

I have:

Case: Cooler Master Masterbox MB500 ATX (2 front fans 120mm?, 1 back fan 94mm?)

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Windforce OC

CPU: Intel i7 9700 (non k)

Ram: Crucial DDR4 16gb 2666mhz

Mobo: Gigabyte Aorus Pro Wifi ATX

HDD: SATA 3.5in 7200rpm (idk what company)

Other: Gaming mouse, gaming keyboard, gaming monitor lcd 24in 240hz

Is 650w enough?  Going to overclock gpu and overclock ram when I get a new one (Probably Hyperx)

Considering Corsair RM650X

What if I overclock GPU and newer RAM?

there is plenty of headroom. Even with an all-core OC-d 9900k, the system needs around 430watts. So, if you push the GPU, it still won't get too high. Esp not with a locked CPU, like yours.

btw, UNDERVOLTING worth it more. Less heat, less noise, less WATTS , but SAME clock speed, and heck, it can even maintain boost clocks for LONGER, as it runs cooler. You can expect a tiny, insignificant performance boost with minor undervolting (-~10%)

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )
