K90 G-less Mod

So since I didn't use the G-keys on my K90 at all, I decided to mod so I had some more space on my desk.

I have to say I'm really happy with how it turned out!

 

 

So what do you guys think?

If anyone is interested in a sort of how-to, let me know!

Tbh I think there's no point in removing the G-Keys, it's not as if the saved space was enormous and useful anyways. What else are you going to fit there, a plant?

And then someday if you find a good usage for macro keys (ex: you try a new game) ---> Regrets.

That is a k70. Not a modded k90. If it was a k90 then the wristwrest would not have had the glossy edge on the left, it would have been cut off.

Because when I bought this Keyboard (1.5 years ago) the K70 wasn't available yet.

 

I could have gone with the K60 but that one doesn't have the full length wrist-rest.

 

Also, the K90 has blue LEDs, as does everything else on my desk;)

I don't know if you ever used a K90 but the macro keys are not mechanical and horrible to use to me, there have been some games in  which it could have been useful but after a day of using them I switched back to using the mechanical keys..

Yes, I Know, I probably would have bought the K70 if it was available but at the time you could only buy a K60 and a K90;)
