FPS - GSync Question - CSGO

Hi Folks,

 

I'm currently using a 240hz G-Sync monitor which is working perfect with my games so far, however, I do notice a slight micro stutter happening a lot when playing CSGO, my frames are sticking around 238 constantly at max settings so I'm assuming that's G-Sync doing it's job here keeping everything in line with the monitors refresh rate from what's coming out the GPU.

 

When I cap my FPS on CSGO, say max fps set to 239 the micro stutter completely disappears even though GSync is active and keeping the frame rate at that level anyway so it's confusing me somewhat, anybody know what that's all about?
