Hello There,

So i've tried to plug in my SSHD (Seagate FireCuda 3,5" 1 TB)

every cable is connected, the Sata power and the signal cable.

But my PC, even my BIOS (MSI B450M Pro VDH Plus) doesnt recognise it.

I cant find a source to this problem and this is the first time i built in a Sata Device.

Hi cubelex,

there are two things that came to my mind that you could try:

1) Check that all cables are firmly seated; the SATA data cables usually have a locking mechanism that should snap in place

2) Try different cables (data and power if you have). If the drive spins up when you turn on the power (even though it is not recognized) you can assume that power is ok.

Good luck :)
