Aura sync strips stopped working

Hi there,

Today I installed my 3-pin aura sync strips and they works for a few minutes, but then they stopped, no sign of life. Tried unplugging them and plugging them back in, nothing, so I tried one of the strips in my brother's PC and it works fine. what could cause my strips to stop working?
