iPhone doesn't turn on.

Yesterday I turned my phone off at 1% battery. I plugged it in and it showed that it is indeed charging. I waited for like an a hour to let it charge but it didn't turn on.  So I went to sleep and plugged it in again to charge and waited until morning.

Still It doesn't turn on , the screen is completely shut down / black. I tried every single button configuration there is and I waited like 5 minutes to try to turn it on and also watched some youtube videos .. Nothing worked so far. The lightning cable does work , because I tried it out on another iPhone. The screen is connected to the motherboard because yesterday it showed that it's charging and it's not damaged. The charger it's working , because it's charging the other iPhone and there is no dust inside the plug of the iPhone . What is the problem?

Sounds like a bad battery.
