CPU Cooler & RAM Height

Hey everyone, i need help figuring out what i need to measure to find out whether my CPU Cooler will interfere with the RAM sticks I'm buying or not. 

 

In the MOBO's manual it says that the distance from the centre of the CPU to the nearest DIMM slot is 53.87 mm. 

 

The depth of the Cooler (Noctua NH U12S) is 71 mm and the RAM height (G. Skill Trident Z Neo) is 44mm. 

 

So with that in mind i guess it's not going to be a problem? Correct me if I'm supposed to measure something else than the depth of the cooler please.

This is what depth refers to.

Here's what you can find in the spec sheet.

Read through the RAM compatibility section, they have useful information there.

It says that the one I'm getting has no ram height limits at all, that's great, thanks for linking that guide, i somehow missed it on their website

The NH-U12S doesn't overhang the ram slots so you are good.
