Avermedia Rec Central Software Help

so i have this capture card from avermedia the company that linus uses for his capture stuff, the software it comes with is called rec central. when i used to turn it on to record my ps3 it would let me hear ps3 sound like a tv does. these 2 days it recently starts the software in mute. when i turn it back on the green bar goes up like it outputs sound 
(ex: google chrome on that volume mixer) but i cant hear it at all and i tried to re install it clean but nothing is working

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.
