New built pc won't start

Hey guys, just built a pc for my brother, with my old components and the pc won't turn on.

 

The psu is working(did the paperclip thing) but when I click on the power button nothing turn on. I even tried touching the pins of the power switch on the motherboard with a screwdriver but still nothing goes on. What could be the problem ?

Can you connect a speaker to the board for error beep codes? Do any fans spin at all? Is something shorted against the motherboard?

Found the problem, the socket of the mobo was a bit broken so I had to push slolwy down the cpu-
