I have a hp z600 workstation has a xeon x5650 cpu, 650wat psu, right now i have a gtx 1050 ti on it but someone bought me a gtx 1080. the psu doesnt have a 8 pin but ill have to buy a 6 to 8 pin converter,

I wanna know the outcome of this...i know its a very bad bottleneck  but if i wanna change i have to change all except the gpu which in my case dont have the budget right now.

Start with PSU first. Most recent games (except notable exceptions like Anno 1800) are mostly GPU-bound. So unless you don't have 8 or more GB of RAM and SSD, you should be fine for now.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.
