Hi everybody!

We are the small shop and for advertising purposes we want to make a "wall" of 2 85" 4K IPS displays with extended desktop (Summary resolution will be 4320x3840). On these displays we plan to show advertising videos of our products. Now I must make a decision for PC hardware. For the CPU I'm thinking about Ryzen 3 3200.

But I'm not sure about GPU. The options are:

1. Nvidia GTX1050/1060

2. Nvidia GTX1650/1660

This PC will have no other task but only videoplayback, so I don't want to buy for it GTX1080ti with no need.

So my question is: has someone tried to connect 2 4K displays to these GPUs?

Do GPUs have enough power for this task?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. The displays have HDMI2.0 connection.

Honestly, you don't even need that much horsepower. I'll brb to check, but I'm pretty sure you can get away with a raspberry Pi 4th gen (PROPERLY COOLED).

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

I've thought about Raspberry Pi 4, but I'm not sure if it powerful enough.

Alright. So take a look at the Raspberry Pi 4, 4GB, two of these 4k microHDMI to HDMI adapters, and a cooling/case kit for it. I personally have used 3 of these case/fan combos and had no issues. Then look into infobeamer for the raspberry pi. Should let you do what you want for less then the price of those GPUs :)

If that's not enough power, look at singleboard computers like the RockPi or timestamping two rPi4s together.

Ok. Thanks. I'll try Raspberry first.
