Netac SSD's

Does anyone here know anything about them? From all the benchmarks I've seen they seem pretty good for the price. All reviews seem good, but obviously the real test is over a longer period of time, say a year. Does anyone have any actual experience with these? What do you think about their longevity?

I try to avoid brand names that have little to no reputation. If you have to pay a little more to get something from a reputable manufacturer that is more likely to support its warranty you'll be better off in the long run.

Yeah I fully agree with this! I've come into some cash though so would love to try something like it just to see. Even if it ends in tears, I'd like people to have that information there. I cant seem to find anyone with much experience on it

This is the major problem.  I've found one review for it on Newegg and it doesn't look good.  Functional, but you'll be better off with spinning rust if the reviewer was correct about transfer speeds.

Haha good to know . It's a shame, although mainstream SSDs are continually getting cheaper anyway. Moral of the story, stick with names ya know, or atleast be prepared to say goodbye to the money and the data at some point.
