Dlc and mod

I was just thinking isnt dlc basically just an official mod from the devs. I Mean it adds stuff to the game, just like a mod

Yea i guess. DLC is generally added content where as a mod is usually something that modifies the game itself. But there are mods that just add content like hat mods in minecraft for example so yea i guess the main thing that separates them is just that DLC is official content from the game developers.

DLC is supposed to add new things
