Is floatplane streaming slower?

I have been trying to watch the latest floatplane video but it is seriously slow.

I tried other sites like youtube and work fine.

Am the only one with this issue?

 

Ps: Hope it is an increase in traffic at least it means that floatplane in moving forward user wise.

Yes. This is due to a couple of factors, Floatplane has only a couple of servers, spread out around the world, so depending on your location there will be a slow down. More importantly Floatplane uses a much higher bit rate than Youtube, so there is more data to stream their videos. I've noticed similar buffering speeds with FP 720p and YT 1080p.
