EVE V Tablet

https://evedevices.com

Is this tablet still worth it and why does it say no longer available on linustechtips but the website and purchasing is still available? does anyone have any idea?

I guess if you really want a Surface-like device and don't have a ton of money to spend it's a good option, but idk.

Do you really need a tablet? I'd look at Thinkpads (or a Thinkpad tablet).

I would say no. I believe that thing competed with the surface pro 4, which is about to be 3 generations old. The Eve V is running a pretty underpowered i5 y series processor and still costs $850 for the entry level one. If you have a costco membership you can get the i5 u series surface pro 6 with the type cover and pen for $850.

I believe it was a kick starter project that people weren't receiving pre-orders for. I would stay away.
