Hi everyone! I seem to be having issues with system of a few years old (attached are the components).

Since recently it completely freezes at seemingly somewhat random moments, normally within a few minutes after booting and starting some applications. Most often when putting on a YouTube video, rarely in a game. With 'freezes' I mean a complete unresponsive system; the screens remain displaying the last frame, keyboard and mouse are completely unresponsive but oddly, any sound continuous playing. My only option is to turn off the power supply after a few while.

After restoring power and turning the pc back on it does seem to post (i.e., I hear the normal beeps and fan speed changes), but the screens don't receive any signal. After minutes of physical rebooting I manage to get a normal boot again, sometimes having a second or third freeze. My older/spare components are in systems that I recently gave away so I have no option of going through normal troubleshooting testing individual components.

Likely unrelated, but for the sake of completeness an issue I've had from the start is that my main monitor (connected over display port) sometimes requires a few reboots (just through windows using my second monitor) before it receives a signal. The other one (over hdmi) works fine. I have confirmed before that it's not the monitors as switching the cables just has the other act up; it seems the display port output requires a few nudges. Leaving my system running (without hibernation or anything) leaves the output working perfectly; it's after sleeps or a boot after being off for a day or so.

Again, the freezes are my main issue but unfortunately I don't have access to replacement component to identify the cause. Do you fine folks perhaps have any suggestions as similar known issues like this or suspect something in particular? Any help or ideas are very much appreciated!!

I had the same problem on my old system. It was caused my GeForce Experience (in my case.)

I'd try and start looking through your event log, see if there are any critical errors happening around the time where your PC freezes.
