Which to buy

I'm in Canada and was looking to build a ryzen 3000 build but I just saw the 2700 is on sale for 219$ CAD and retail is 419$CAD. Should I take the wicked deal or stick with my guns and build 3000 series.  Thanks

Depending on which ryzen you would buy, i say that's a good deal.

You can have it, and wait for the 4th gen to come and loose 15% performance from the same 8 core.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Well' it doesn't retail for 419 cad normally, but it's still pretty good. The Ryzen 7 2700 is a solid cpu anyways

Hmm.. I mean, 2700x comes with 8/16 and 3600 with 6/12.

for the offer price I think it’s a good deal and saves you 140 bucks which you could towards perhaps either a x570 board to upgrade in a few years to 4th gen ryzen, or towards a nicer GPU/PSU/ fill in. (In my opinion)

Price may be inflated but Newegg right now has it listed at 419 regular price
