Hi all,

one of my friend has had this persistent problem of intense stuttering in seemingly random moments when playing games. I am helping him post this information because he is not very good at English...

Here is the specs of his computer:

Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro (previously Z370)

CPU: i7 8700K

Memory: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz

SSD: HIKvision C2000Pro 512GB (Upgraded from SATA)

GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Ti (Previously 2080S, sold)

Display: BenQ Zowie XL

Sound: HD Audio

Ethernet: MSI I219-V

As you can see, he has swapped a significant portion of his hardware parts in order to solve the problem (he is a streamer). I have also recommended him with troubleshooting steps about temperature, internet connection, and (malicious) antivirus software. None of them has been effective... So here I am posting to you guys for help. Are there still any questionable components or this is most likely software?

Thanks for the help!

By recommending steps, are you saying that they are a non issue, or they dont know how to do it? My thoughts is temps based on the hardware involved.
