Hi,

I need some recommendation on UPS. I have a computer system with a PSU of 750W 80 Plus Gold and a monitor that consumes around 30W. I currently have KOSS UPS 800VA but when my system run at peak capacity, the UPS is overloaded. So I need to know how the minimal capacity my UPS needs to have for it to power my system for about 5 minutes in case of blackout?

I tried some of the UPS calculator, but the recommended result is some what more for business and office one and some for servers.

So, I would like to have these features in my UPS:

- LCD or LED indicators (simple indicators like battery%)

- optional USB interface

I'm living in Malaysia, using UK electrical system, running at 230V 50Hz. UK 3 pin socket preferred.

I have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). More info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autism_spectrum

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.

Eaton 5S1500 - ~$260 USD

Eaton 5SC1000 - ~$500 USD

The 5SC is slightly more expensive because it's a true sine wave AC output where the 5S is simulated sine wave (very close to). Both will work fine, the 5SC is just a slightly better design.
