Ubuntu gmod mouse issue

So my windows just corrupted so I but Ubuntu on my ASUS X555LAB i3 5020U Intel HD 5500 Laptop and when playing Gmod if I have any keys pressed like wasd I can't move my mouse or click unless I let go of a key.  If anyone has no solution no problem cuz im very happy with ubuntu my computer has never ran so fast even when it was new and I have war thunder to play.  :)
