Greetings from Illinois! I have been watching LTT for some time now and I appreciate greatly both the information and unbiased reviews on products. I am both (have been) a hard Intel fanboy since the very early days. (I am 55). I continue to work in the IT field for a Credit Union as I have for over 25 years and although for a time I switched exclusively to Apple products in the late 90's (Still have my original first gen iPhone, and it works!) I decided that I would dip my toe into the Windows realm again (not that I left it as I work with Microsoft daily for work) for my personal use. I game but I am not a die-hard gamer (prefer FPS and racing sims) so about 5 years ago I bought and built a Core i5 4690k system with an Asus A97 MB and a NVIDIA 1070 GPU, upgrading along the to a 1080. I bought the machine primary to run the CV1 Oculus and I was a kick starter participant, so I have the CV1 with a XBox controller and ONE sensor lol, upgrading along the way to touch controllers and 4 sensors. I have it all setup in mt theater room that I constructed years before (its still used as a theater today, Slaughter House Cinema). Anyway, I have been wanting to upgrade my system, and after doing my research I decided I would upgrade my GPU from my 1080 to the new 2080 Super and a newer monitor, upgrading from a ACER G-SYNC 27" 1080p to a MSI Optix MAG321CQR 31.5" G Sync compatible monitor, Pretty happy with it "so far, at $350 USD after rebate", then I was like, ya time to retire my late 2013 27" i7 iMac (Also 4h gen Intel) and using your videos and doing my own research I decided on the AMD Ryzen 3700X CPU and a MSI x570 Gaming Carbon WiFi MB, to go with my MSI GPU and Monitor, and for now 16GB of Crucial Ballistic Ram (3200). I went from a Cinibench scor of 3 digits to 4 digits and 12 more cores!

I wanted to thank this site and Linus for your help and like I said unbiased opinions, as well as the detailed and light heartened approach to tech.

Keep up the great work!

Looks like I will be returning my MSI board and getting the X570 AORUS MASTER ?

Return it and just get a TUF or elite, no need for a master.

Looks like the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro WiFi is enough, I need wifi and would like some future proof, Wifi 6 and BT 5 still has an Intel NIC, can not really tell the diff between the Pro Wifi and the Ultra other than 30 bucks and an extra M.2 slot.
