Hi Guys,

Looking for some insight on this if i could, as my own research has left me little confused.

I have an old HP Business PC sitting at home with an i7-3770s cpu with a GT-430 & 8GB of RAM.

i was looking to set this up as my dedicated stream PC via NDI, what i am hoping to achieve is a 720p60 possibly a 900p60 stream on the faster/fast preset at a 4500 bitrate.

What do you think? is this viable? any thoughts are much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Doubtful. I assume you are using the cpu to encode. Will just have to test it and see how it looks. Think my 4790k sat around 60% on a 1080p stream. Isn’t bad but not ideal for fast gameplay.

Thanks for your quick response. Definately CPU encoding..

What settings do you think would be achievable?

Any setting is achievable. You need to be the judge of the stream quality and base it on that. I couldn’t tell you. Another reason I prefer to record and upload. Unless you’re gonna stream 24/7 in hopes to gain traction, need to have a quality stream though.
