hdd crashes under load

Go to solution Solved by seagate_surfer,

I would double check that of the warranty, I'll post the link down below along with the link to find firmware updates for your device, if after formatting and reinstalling the SeaTools for Windows still says the drive lifespan has come to an end then there is not much you can do about, grab your files and replace the unit:

so this my weird hdd story

back a year ago i bought a seagate 1tb 7200rpm hdd it worked perfectly for a year
2 weeks ago it suddenly started to crash under load like everything from launching a game (my steam library)

or moving big files

before this happend i went to moscow for business trip 2 days and i had the pc turned off

contacted the seagate support they told to talk to where i bought it

had a 1 year warranty its done now so they told me that they cant do anything about it

since this was a dead end im up to do everything
these the stuff i tried doing

1.tried using seagate software all the test crashes while doing it

2. formatting the disk multiple times

any help is appreciated :)

Ok, I understand! In the same way I would check the serial number using the link I put above and if it still appears as under warranty, the only thing that would be necessary is for you to register and open a ticket. Maybe you will get a little lucky and they can help you do the RMA with the manufacturer if the page still says you are under warranty even though the vendor has told you that they can no longer do anything about it, just saying because I know that the process is different for Russia so double checking as a last resource is totally worth it.
