High CPU Usage

I recently upgraded to an i5-8500, and I was very hopeful for this CPU. But, under load (in games), my CPU is reaching 90-100% usage even on low settings. I don't think games like Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege are supposed to use this much on low settings, but they are.
Any idea why?

My specs:
GTX 1660, i5-8500, B360 Gaming Plus Motherboard, 16GB DDR4 RAM, CX550M 550W PSU.

Seems normal for this CPU. 6c/6t CPUs are slowly getting obsolete in modern games.

Rainbow 6 can saturate a whole Ryzen 5, as for overwatch, 90% doesn't seem unreasonable, as an i5 7400 is totally choked in that game.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
