470$ Gaming PC Plan

Akira Shimazu

so it's been 7 years I've been gaming and editing videos with my i7-3610QM and GT650M. i found a struggle for the gpu to maintain constant FPS especially inside Shooter fast-paced game like Fortnite or other Esport title. even when i turned setting down to low (except view far) i only get unstable 45-50fps which is not cool for shooting games. even indie games like ABZU or Little nightmares start to lag. and the cpu went 90C with GPU constant in 82C. try to OC GT650m but failed.

in term of editing, 1080P60 makes cpu went 95C and not smooth after few effect planted on. even 16GB ram can do much with weak cpu. Although also i guess 8GB of ram is enough for editing videos for me since im not heavy editing user. and only edit like once every few month. regardless whether im actually buying it or not here is my build for 470$USD

i want to play 1080P 75HZ

*Indonesia 6.7millllion IDR

Ryzen 2200G 4c/4t

Asrock B450 pro 4, i have seen this mobo as somehow Low-end tier Mobo so its kinda concern me. is it okay tho?. the Steel legend i can get its b450M which has few pcle lanes compare to pro 4 and cost more.

KLevv DDR4 2x4 3000Mhz

ADATA SU650 240GB

Hitachi 1TB HDD from laptop.

Bequiet U9 400W

Saphire radeon 570 ITX 4GB

Cube gaming IRVBOW case

what do you guys think? im open to any kind of suggestion.

I have the same mobo and it works perfect. I have had no issues. I would not worry about that. I think the PC build is pretty good though besides maybe getting 16gb of ram if you can.

Personally I'd get a Ryzen 1500x for the SMT and use the included cooler until you can afford a better one, but the wraith spire is really a very good cooler, I use one on my ryzen 1700 and never had an issue with it

I didn't recommend a 1600, I recommended a 1500x...

The Vega 8 in the 2200G is scarcely (if at all) more powerful than the GTX650, and you're trading an 8 thread CPU for a 4 thread.

Obviously your build won't be useful in a rebuild, since I'm assuming it's a laptop.

The Ryzen 5 2400G would at least provide SMT and the Vega 11 is similar to a GTX 750. You're still not looking at a huge gaming performance increase, though.

You'd need a discrete GPU for that.
