I got a new RTX 2070 recently but the driver doesn't work (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)) and nothing I've done has worked at all and I know it's the driver because the Microsoft Basic Display adapter isn't having any of these issues.

I've disabled and reenabled it, I've tried to update it, I've tried to use older versions and I've uninstalled (using ddu) and reinstalled it several times in different ways to see if that would work. I have no idea what else I could do. Any ideas?

Try a slightly older driver?

Just tried that there. Sadly it didn't work. Thanks for the idea though.

Is it only a problem with the 2070?

I think so but I'm not sure

See if it still happens with your old GPU.
