Hello,

yesterday got my new rig upgrade parts (cpu/ mobo/ ram) got a few questions

1) I tried to OC my 3600 to 4.2, found info in net that people could do it with 1.4-1.45v but on my mobo (b450 aorus elite) theres no voltage settings at all only dynamic vcore and dynamic vcore soc. I set dynamic vcore to +0.203~ and in cpuz or aida64 it shows vcore voltage as 1.296 and it works stable on 4.2 ( at least first day of usage). Any idea if its fine with that much voltage or should I check it somewhere else as I heard ryzen shows different vcore in different place.

2) I got new ram 2x16gb viper 4 3200 cl16. it works, but neither cpuz neither gigabyte aorus software to check specs shows ram kit name etc, just blank spaces and shows only speed and timings is that normal ?

should I maybe check hwmonitor instead for more accurate information for ryzen cpu?

1) Your voltage of 1.296 is below the 1.325V maximum so yes, that voltage is safe.

2) Yes that is normal.

is it really showing correct information? as 1.296 seems to be very low as some people were able to OC 3600 to 4.2 only on 1.45v. maybe cpuz shows wrong vcore voltage? should I check it somewhere else?

and if ram nto showing name etc is normal, why is it like that ? my last ram showed all information.
