Likely the memory controller in the CPU is too weak for that, voltage adjustment could help. As for board... I have confidence that Asus made it good enough for this frequency.

Well, you can always send them to me and I'll see if I can get them to do 3733Mhz CL17 on my X570 Aorus Xtreme, no guarantees that I'd send 'em back to you if they can do 3733Mhz though.?  I'd actually ordered and had 4x 8GB Patriot Steel Viper 3733Mhz RAM delivered to my bro's place in Canada. He's visiting me sometime in October so I'll have a set of the same RAM myself.

yh they are very nice, but be careful i got them for 105€ 16gb 3733mhz from US amazon

i dont know if it is the case with every ram of these series but many users report heatsink problems, at some heatsink just isn't as durable or stridy as it should be

that's what happened with one of my RAM stick, one was ok another one was a bit meh but still holding together just not 100% quality i guess :c

tho for 100€ to get these rams i am happy enough with just that, they work so idk i'll try oc them later today so let's see where i get ?

ok so i was only able to get the ram to motherboard rated speeds of 3533MHz

to go beyond that i have no idea how haha beyond 3533 it doesnt even crash, it just remains black screen with I/O devices off
