Help...Razer Firefly replacement USB cable?

So the USB cable for my daughters Razer Firefly was cut in half by her pet rabbit.  I've replaced the usb cord for mice before,but for the life of me I cannot find anything on a replacement USB cable for this mouse pad.

I've contacted Razer which was obviously no help as they don't supply the part.  I'm looking to see if I can just get a replacement cable ti replace it.  

 

Has anyone out there replaced the cable for this mouse pad and if so what site did you buy it from?    The end is a small 5pin female connector.

I doubt there's a replacement cable. The cable is probably soldered into the board inside of the pad. You can remove the cable as I already have.  Its a 5 pin connector.

It's definitely replaceable. It has a basic micro USB port on the mouse pad. As far as getting an actual replacement, I have been in the same boat. If you look at the port, there are two sort of tabs on either side. This would require the cable to have 2 notches in it in order to fit. I was able to take a regular micro USB cable, and just file 2 notches in either side. This allowed it to fit fairly well, and it works fine. I am still on the lookout for the actual cable though.
