Hey everyone

 

I've just got the ASUS RT-AC86U router and it's my first time setting up a third party router but it just won't work for me.

 

My ISP is Orcon so I tried the following steps after doing the auto detect set up and then selecting the following instructions below from the shops support page here: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/ASUSISPSettings. However it states "Your ISP's DHCP does not function properly.

I contacted my ISP and tried again using the username and password they gave me with PPPoE and that changed the internet status from the error above to disconnected.

 

Not having any luck here.
