Whenever I try to start up my PC, there is a high chance that the fans would spin faster and more loudly than it normally does during boot. Then the PC would turn off by itself and turn on by itself and repeat. All while my screen is black and not showing anything. In the slight chance that the PC starts normally during one of the repeats, the PC would freeze in the windows loading screen. To fix it, I need to restart PC, enter the BIOS, and reapply the overclock on my CPU, since the BIOS resets when this problem occurs.

Note that when my PC DOES work, everything works normally, and I experienced no problems at all when windows is working. I could play games, run stress test for hours, but god forbid me from turning off my computer.

I feel like it's a motherboard problem, but I need to be sure since it's very hard to find anyone with the same problem as I have.

from my experience, the cause might be from a faulty power supply. I had the same problem and changing the power supply solved it...try it

That's what I thought as well, but why does the power supply be faulty on booting, but work without a single problem when the PC is running? My PC is running right now, I can do stress tests and play games for days without it crashing. I'm really confused at where the problem might be.
