The VG248QE is pretty good. The Benq XL240TE or something along the lines of that is supposedly the best monitor for gaming.

If you want nice picture quality, the Asus PB278Q is 1440p. The new Dell 4k monitor is $700, but is 30hz @ 4k. I dont know if 1440p is full screen when scaled down, but i do know it runs it @ 60hz.

I've seen the dell 4k not sure about 30hz though... This is so confusing man.

The monitor runs at 30hz, when displaying 4k, however when in lower resolutions it runs at 60hz.

A 120hz monitor or 1440p will suit you well. Not a lot is known about the Dell 4k, well, at least i dont know much. Maybe wait for a review.

The VG246QE 120hz 1080p or PB278Q 60hz 1440p both from Asus are good options.

Something else to look into might be 5760x1080 if you have space.

Based on what i saw, i dont know if I would trust it. I stick to one of the better "Brand Name" monitors.
