Since I have access to a 3D printer, I was going to make a vertical mount for my graphics card. Since I'm going the diy route, I need a riser cable but I'm avoiding investing a lot of money. I'm avoiding the cheap unshielded IDE looking cables but I found this:https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F233296009347

Is this a good option? I plan on putting an RX 580 on it (assuming I fix it...). I also found a listing for the EZ-DIY cable and that looks very similar to this one though I'm not sure about build quality. Anyways, I'm not going to pay the Thermaltake tax and buy one of their cables as it's out of my price range ( I have like 10 bucks). Any thoughts? Thanks.

Put it as far away from the side panel on the case as possible, otherwise it's going to run really hot.

Maybe look for the one with the thickest looking cable for the best signal quality.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Yeah the bracket pushes the card pretty far from the side panel. The one I linked seems fairly thick but I'll have to compare it to some others.
